Big Inning Early Sets Back Patriots in Loss

Sugar Land, Texas - The Somerset Patriots (20-15, 55-43) fell to the Sugar Land Skeeters (24-10, 65-32) 6-4 Tuesday night at Constellation Field. The Skeeters took the lead early with a four-run bottom of the third inning. Barrett Barnes opened the scoring on an RBI single.
