Gleyber Torres to Begin Rehab Assignment with Tarpons Tonight

Tampa, Fla. - The New York Yankees have announced that infielder Gleyber Torres will begin a Minor League Rehabilitation Assignment with the Class-A Advanced Tampa Tarpons. The 21-year-old is scheduled to play tonight in Dunedin, when the Tarpons play a series-finale against the Dunedin Blue Jays at Dunedin Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Torres has been on the disabled list since July 5th with a right hip strain.
