YOUNGSVILLE, La. - In the first of a four-game home stand, the Acadiana Cane Cutters faced off against the Brazos Valley Bombers and lost the opener 9-1.
The only run scored by the Cane Cutters came in the seventh inning. The bases were loaded after a single and two walks. Third baseman Nathan Miranda (ULM) scored the run on a wild pitch during Cole Secrest's (Lamar University) at-bat.
